In 2015, my husband, Dr. Jeroen Ensink, was stabbed to death right outside our home in London.
A stranger suffering from psychosis attacked him as he was posting the birth announcements for our daughter.


I could have become hard and bitter, but I chose differently.
Not by clinging to the familiar, but by letting go of it completely.

The murder of my husband gave me a voice that reaches far beyond death.
It is a voice that highlights the power of choice and action.

I share my story to challenge the way we think.
Change is inevitable, but how we respond is what truly matters.
